Lucy Xie MSW RSW

For over a decade, I’ve worked in the mental health and addictions field, supporting first responders, healthcare workers, and other high-functioning individuals through trauma, depression, anxiety and other challenges. I’ve sat with people who were trained to stay calm in chaos—and who quietly wondered when it became so hard to feel okay in everyday life.

I hold a Master of Social Work (MSW) from the University of Toronto, and while I’m deeply grounded in evidence-based therapies, I don’t believe healing happens through worksheets alone. My approach blends solid clinical tools with real conversations.

I'm registered with the BC College of Social Workers and the Ontario College of Social Workers.

Why Survive to Thrive?

Because surviving is something you’ve already mastered. Thriving is the part that deserves your attention now. My role isn’t to “fix” you, it’s to help you reconnect with yourself in ways that feel practical, respectful, and sustainable.

Outside the Therapy Room

Vancouver is home, and when I’m not working, you’ll usually find me strength training, crafting something half-finished, or baking a treat to share with friends. These aren’t just hobbies, they’re reminders that healing isn’t about becoming someone new. It’s about rediscovering the parts of you that were always there.

If you’re ready for therapy that feels like a real conversation, I’d love to meet you.
